Goals &Topics

The consortium partners appointed 2 main topic areas in the EELISA project. Smart, Green and Resilient Cities and Sustainable Smart Industries. The concept is the new program will build the existing curriculums, in first steps focusing the MSc program and later expanding for the PhD (2021) and finally for the BSc (2025). In the early period the given topics will be highlighted in the supporting 3 years. With it’s success further special fields will be shaped. 4 faculties of BME commended subjects in the early period: Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Faculty of Civil Engineering, and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The medium-term goal already inside the 3 years project period, that every faculties can take part in the actualization. The long-term goal, that BME could be member of the European University Union with it’s full education structure.

Levels of Cooperation

The point component of the initiative, the European degree, and forming a generally appreciation among the participant partners. According to the plan of the consortium 3 levels alloy would come off in order to take into more students.

The BME like the other members of the consortium undertakes creating a joint catalogue which contains the subjects of the members and activities database. The EELISA Union will create the 3-level tribute system (credential, diploma supplement, European Engineering degree). The EELISA will create challenging base training with it’s industrial partners and use innovate pedagogic methods. In the project the goal of the BME to create 2 main topic areas: Smart, Green and Resilient Cities and Sustainable Smart Industries within 3 years. Further goal at the end of the 3 years that the 10% of students would be in credential level, 1 % of student would be in diploma supplement level and 250 students would take part in common degree training. The BME would like to reach 10% staff mobility level and would create 50 community. The EELISA would like to achieve the mobility within the EELISA campus, which involves all partner institutions. Along the physical mobility the union would like to achieve the mobility with virtual solutions in the first case using Erasmus sources. Medium-term (2026) goal that the 100% of students at least take part in the credential level and be member of the community.

Students who take part in certain programs which is implemented by the consortium: the own institution gives degree, and the EELISA association gives certificate from the extra programs. (credential)

Students, who take part in limited part of the training (30 ECTS): the own institution gives degree plus the EELISA association gives diploma supplement.

In track, which is implemented by the consortium, the student could get the European Engineering degree.
