What is this call about?
We are now accepting applications from students who wish to become EELISA Reporters and media content creators for the EELISA Alliance during the celebration of EELISA Days (November 2025). The selected students will have the opportunity to cover key events, engage with the EELISA community, and share stories through digital media.
The three EELISA events to be covered are:
- Entrepreneurship School hosted by FAU (Germany)
- EELISA Students Event hosted by ITU (Turkey)
- PhD Symposium hosted by BME (Hungary)
** Please note: Exact dates of the events will be communicated at the beginning of September 2025.
One student will be selected from each EELISA institution. Each selected student will travel—with all expenses covered—to one of the designated EELISA campuses to join the EELISA Reporters Group, alongside up to three other selected students from across the Alliance. Final event assignments and travel locations will be communicated once the full team of selected reporters is confirmed.
In addition, all selected candidates will be invited to participate in two exclusive workshops focused on science communication and digital storytelling in preparation for the event.

Expected outputs
1. Before the event
Selected students are expected to participate in two workshops:
- Workshop 1 (1.30 hours)
– Part I: Intro to EELISA and EELISA Communication.
– Part II: experts on science communication, digital storytelling and production of impactful social media content.
- Workshop 2 (2 hours) Brainstorming session on creative materials and workflow.

Specific outputs will be shaped through participants’ proposed ideas and collective decisions made during Workshop 2, with a minimum level of participation serving as a foundation. Some materials may include engaging “recap reels” for EELISA’s Instagram, compilations of quotes from participants of the competition on Bluesky and Instagram Stories, daily highlight posts as Instagram or Facebook carousels, longer recaps on LinkedIn summarizing key insights, as well as visual “takeover” updates across Instagram Stories, Instagram Carousels, Bluesky, and Facebook.
3. After the event
Participants will contribute to post-event storytelling based on their interests and the winning scientific projects of the competition. This may include in-depth video interviews with winners, long-form written pieces with insights into the process behind each project, or a curated visual collection showcasing the selected winning projects.
Selected students’ profiles and work will be displayed on the EELISA website as EELISA reporters and media content creators and will receive a special certificate recognizing their involvement and participation after the completion of the experience.
