The EELISA Sustainable Buildings, Cities and Communities (Eelisa – European University) think tank workshop ended on Friday, June 27, 2025. In addition to the workshop, the students visited, among other things, IBM’s Madrid office building and several UPM research centers. Besides the daytime programs, there was also time for evening relaxation and sightseeing. The intensive week ended on Friday with the European Space Agency (ESA) Hackathon. BME students achieved excellent results, and all three winners and the special award-winning international teams included students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering’s CIT MSc program, who participated in the event as part of the BME European Engineering Projectwork subject, as well as doctoral students from BME Faculty of Civil Engineering (BME ÉMK).
